Geneva, Switzerland
This week I visited Switzerland for the very first time. Turns out that it’s a gorgeous country with the friendliest people and delicious food. While the people in Geneva all speak French, the city itself actually reminded me of Vienna – it’s a classic Central European city with somewhat luxurious architecture.
I was really happy that I got a chance to practice my French – I used to study it for several years and never really had the chance to actually speak it elsewhere than school. Luckily I haven’t completely forgotten it and now I so desperately want to continue studying it. What else? Oh, the food. I LOVED it! Fresh fruits, cheese, Swiss chocolate, french fries (these are really delicious there and I don’t mean the ones they sell in McDonald’s), fresh vegetables, and, of course, the bread (which I’ve always been addicted to).
Anyway, here are some of the pictures I took. There is still a lot more to share with you guys tho.
First stop was Amsterdam International Airport – got to drink Starbucks again after a few years. Happiness!
Beautiful Alps through the window of the plane
FOOOOD!
Chanel in all it’s glory
Found a Friends-inspired cafe in the middle of the local Soho aka the artsy borough
That’s it for now. I’ll be back later tonight.
