SO ENDS AN ERA, SO BEGINS ANOTHER
My time at H&M will soon come to an end. This wonderful journey that has lasted for 2 years will be over in a few weeks, so it’s time to gather some photos from that time and post them all together in one throwback post.
Working as a Showroom Manager at H&M has been one of the biggest and best experiences of my life. It feels like yesterday when I was heading to Finland for the job interview and I must admit, these two years have gone by like a minute. I have learned so much about myself, my abilities and what I am capable of, and I am so grateful that I have been able to experience everything that this job has offered, from being part of different market openings to facing huge, huge, huge responsibilities. People sometimes tend to assume that my job is just to sit in the showroom, rearrange garments and wait for someone to come and visit it. It always makes me laugh when someone thinks that, but I think it’s okay that people don’t really know what I do on a daily basis, because jobs always have so much more to them than what people think or the title says. My friend, for example, is managing one of the most popular nightclubs in Tallinn and he said that people never understand why he has to go to work on regular working days and not just on the weekends when the club is actually open. As for my job, the daily showroom routines are only about 20% of it, as most of my job is about managing/handling/being responsible for different PR stuff. I spend 95% of my time behind the computer, or attending meetings, planning different things, and so on. There are so many great things that I am responsible for and I am so happy that I have been trusted with taking care of them. I am also very thankful that I have had the opportunity to witness how one of the biggest retail brands works and I am very happy that I have been able to meet so many wonderful and inspiring people during that time, from CEO and Head of Design to my dear, dear colleagues from Finland, Latvia, and Lithuania. And, of course, my dearest colleague whom I work with in the same office on a daily basis and who has become one of my best friends.
So to sum up – these two years have been filled with so many great memories, experiences, countless amount of laughter and fun, and truly hard work combined with great responsibilities. Thinking about the fact that soon it’s all going to be over makes me very emotional, but on the other hand I am so ready to face new challenges and can’t wait to see what life has instore for me!
I’m going to let these photos walk you through my time at H&M, from my very first day at this company to my last Open House event.

Palju edu uutel radadel :)
